Pashmina shawls, saffron from J&K in ODOP exhibition

Pashmina shawls from Jammu & Kashmir and saffron from Pulwama were among the 21 traditional products inaugurated and exhibited by the Indian Ambassador to Russia, Vinay Kumar, at the One District One Product (ODOP) exhibition. Organised by the Indian Embassy in Russia in association with the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, the exhibition showcased products from 201 districts across 10 Indian states.

The event attracted friends of India, members of the Indian diaspora, and local media representatives. Running from August 1 to August 4, the exhibition offers a glimpse into the quality and variety of traditional Indian products, promoting the unique ODOP items.

Zari Zardozi (Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh)

Cotton Textile (Kannur, Kerala)

Blue Pottery (Jaipur, Rajasthan)

Wooden Work (Jodhpur, Rajasthan)

Marble Artifacts (Sirohi, Rajasthan)

Carpets (Dausa, Rajasthan)

Textiles (Barmer, Rajasthan)

Kangra Paintings (Kangra, Himachal Pradesh)

Himachali Cap (Kullu, Himachal Pradesh)

Mohra Art (Mandi, Himachal Pradesh)

Pattu Pavda Garment (Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu)

Kalamkari Durries (Warangal, Telangana)

Chanderi Saree (Ashok Nagar, Madhya Pradesh)

The exhibition not only highlights the rich cultural heritage of India but also aims to promote these traditional crafts and products on an international stage.
