Open Kashmir Rope Skipping Championship concludes in Srinagar

 The  Open Kashmir Rope Skipping Championship  concluded on Tuesday here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School(GGHSS), Nowhatta.
Participants from different schools, colleges and clubs participated in this event and showcased their talent.
Dr. Altaf-Ur-Rehman, Former Physical Director, ICSC Hawal, was the Chief Guest on the occasion whereas Senior Staff of GGHSS Nowhatta Madam Shugufta, Mr. Abdul Rashid, Madam Kousar Jabeen, Vice President , RSAJK, Mr. Ahmad Rauf, Secretary RSAJK, Mr. Mukhtar Bhat and Physical Educator Nusrat Wani were among guest of honours.
On the occasion, Chief Guest congratulated all medal winners in particular and participants in general and also appreciated organizers for organizing such a  event first time in the Kashmir valley.
“Medal winners will represent J&K at the IRSF National Championship which is scheduled to be held at Nainital Uttrakhand this month,” said  Mukhtar Ahmad ,Secretary Rope Skipping Association of J&K, he said that while presenting vote of thanks to all participants, guests and school management of GGHSS Nowhatta.
The Championship was organized by Rope Skipping Association of J&K (RSAJK) under the aegis of Indian Rope Skipping Federation (IRSF).
