Novelty FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against SCFA in today’s fixture of the My Youth My Pride Srinagar Premier Division Football League 2024-25 at the TRC Synthetic Turf.
The match burst into life in the 19th minute when Novelty FC’s Shafayat (No. 7) broke the deadlock with a clinical finish. Their dominance continued as Aayan (No. 8) doubled the lead in the 29th minute, putting Novelty FC firmly in control before halftime.
SCFA showed resilience in the second half, with Farhan (No. 7) successfully converting a penalty in the 54th minute to reduce the deficit. Despite mounting pressure in the closing stages, SCFA couldn’t find an equalizer, leaving Novelty FC to claim all three points.
