North Zone Inter-university Cricket Tournament: Kashmir University beat Bhundelkhand University Jhansi by 63 runs

In the  ongoing north zone inter-university cricket tournament, Kashmir University (KU) beat Bhundelkhand University (BU) Jhansi by 63 runs at MDU Rohtak Haryana .

Kashmir University won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 159/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Lone Nasir and Musavir scored 41 and 35 runs respectively.

In reply, BU Jhansi scored only 96/9 in 20 overs as Kashmir University bowlers struck at regular intervals and did not allow batsmen to score freely. For Kashmir University, Lone Nasir and Yasir took 3 wickets each.

Dr Nisar Ahmad Khan coordinator and Nadeem Ahmad Assistant Director, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, Kashmir University, congratulated team coach Amjid Qadir and players for winning the first match comprehensively and wished them good luck for the next match agianst Faizabad University.
