MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh interacts with students of Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi

Minister of State for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, today interacted with the students of Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi. Around 70 students along with officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Police visited the national capital under the Bharat Darshan programme of the government. Around half of them are from the families of those who were killed in action.

 

During the meeting, Dr Singh advised the students to imbibe new technologies, learn about new Start-Up avenues, and get acquainted with new developments in different segments of society. He focused on sectors like science and technology, biochemistry, artificial intelligence, and space technology. He also emphasized the use of smartphones to attain information and knowledge. The Minister mentioned schemes like Pradhanmantri Vishwakarma Yojana, which seeks to help them acquire and enhance the skills of their forefathers.
