Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasized the importance of reviving the values and vision championed by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, urging for concerted efforts to foster peace, harmony, and prosperity within society.
Addressing the gathering after pledge ceremony to mark the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ at Raj Bhavan, he paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, often hailed as the Unifier of India.
“Recognizing his remarkable statesmanship, unwavering determination, and fearless resolve in uniting the nation while safeguarding its territorial integrity and sovereignty,” LG Sinha said.
He emphasized that Sardar Patel’s legacy provides a foundation for future generations to live in honor, peace, and prosperity.
He urged the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to unite and commit to working together with a common purpose, with the ambitious goal of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
“Let us rekindle the values and vision championed by Sardar Patel and actively contribute to the promotion of peace, harmony, and prosperity within our society,” LG Sinha said.
