Langate Girl tops M.Sc. Nursing Examination at Indian Academy College of Nursing Bangalore

Girls have always shown their mettle in different fields and this girl from Langate has made the whole state proud. Saba Mushtaq has topped the nursing examination at Indian Academy College of Nursing Bangalore held for the academic year 2016-17.

Talking to media, Mushtaq Ahmad Malik, the father of Saba Mushtaq said that his daughter though secured 132 points in the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test held by J&K board of professional examinations (BOPEE) in the year 2011 but was not granted admission for any professional course as the large scale bungling in the final merit list of CET had deprived many deserving candidates of the right to selection. The bungling was probed later and then BOPEE chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Peer was arrested and convicted this year.

Saba Mushtaq after being denied the right to selection despite securing 132 points in J&K CET pursued M.Sc. Nursing course in the Indian Academy College of Nursing Bangalore and topped the examination this year. Saba Mushtaq hails from village Guloora of Langate constituency in Kupwara district.
