Khyber Cement, the leading brand from Jammu & Kashmir, has collaborated with The Bureau of India Standards (BIS) to flag off a Bike Rally to commemorate World Standards Day 2024. The rally will conclude in the heroic Siachen Base Camp with 16 riders taking part in it. Khyber Cement’s support for this event marks a significant step in the company’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the welfare of Kashmir beyond business through such meaningful initiatives.
The 10-day rally, themed ‘Driving Sustainability through Standards’ was flagged off today at Nehru Park in Srinagar, with riders travelling through challenging terrain to raise awareness about the role of standards in promoting sustainability. This initiative also promotes organizational sustainability by implementing proactive oversight measures that enhance transparency and ethical practices.
