In a significant breakthrough for talent emerging from Kashmir, model-turned-actor Yasir Tak has confirmed receiving an offer from Yash Raj Films (YRF), one of India’s most prestigious film production banners.Speaking exclusively to Rising Kashmir, Yasir shared that he recently received an offer from Yash Raj Films for one of their upcoming projects.
“Discussions are currently ongoing, and it’s a huge opportunity considering YRF is the biggest film banner in India,” he said.While the project’s specifics remain under wraps, sources close to the actor suggest the role could open new doors for the Kashmir-based talent in mainstream Bollywood cinema.In addition to the YRF offer, Tak has completed shooting for Victoria Mansion, a mystery-thriller set to release in five languages, including Hindi.Describing the film, Yasir said, “It’s a dark, suspenseful narrative set in a vintage-era mansion where every character has a secret.
I am playing a British character in the opening scene, which sets the tone for the story.”The film is currently in post-production, with its trailer expected to be released soon.Yasir is also set to play the main antagonist in an upcoming bilingual South Indian film. “I’ve already completed the workshop, and shooting is scheduled to begin soon in Kashmir. While I can’t reveal the title just yet, it’s a powerful script and an exciting role for me,” he added.
