Seamless Celestial Globe
It was invented in Kashmir by Ali Kashmiri ibn Luqman in 998H/1589-90 CE, in the reign of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Unlike the ordinary globe that represents earth, the celestial globe represents sky complete with stars and constellations on it. It was a practical tool in astronomy that allowed astronomers to position objects in the sky. This invention has been regarded as the one of the 20 clever inventions that came from the Indian subcontinent.
Auto Electricity Generator
Abrar Aijaz hailing from Sogam, Lolab invented an Auto Electricity Generator which runs without real fuel injecting into it and can produce smaller amount of electricity to run electronic gadgets continuously. He is also credited with invention of “Morse Code Decoder”, later called “Key Board for Blind People”.
Low Price Space Pen
Refaz and Ishfaq from Wandevelgam of south Kashmir’s Anantnag District invented this pen. This pen uses magnetic force to write instead the usual gravitation force in space.

Imtiyaz Yaseen a young Kashmiri scientist discovered a crucial protein secreted by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which if targeted by specific drugs will provide faster diagnosis and possible cure to tuberculosis.

Dr Shah Faisal Ahmad, a medical doctor, author working at SMHS hospital Srinagar and his team (2 doctors and 2 engineers) have recently invented a Multimodal pain relieving device, the first of its kind in the entire world.
Other credit they have is for bio-health invention, a model for checking blood glucose without pricks. The team included : Dr Shah Faisal Ahmad, Er Idrees-ul-Haq, Dr Dawood Banday and Dr Shaeikh Rayees.
