In a major push to promote winter sports and position Kashmir as a premier skiing destination, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday virtually inaugurated a 14-day Integrated Ski Training Course spanning Gulmarg, Sonmarg and Doodhpathri,
The Office of the J&K CM in a post on X stated that, “The programme, aimed at firmly establishing these locations on the national and international skiing map.”The post reads that, “It will provide certified ski training to 500-600 students in the 12-18 age group this year, while simultaneously boosting winter tourism across the region,” the post reads.
