Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board on Tuesday chaired the 166th Board meeting of JKSSB in Jammu.
The meeting was attended by the Members of the Board, M Shafiq Chak, Angrez Singh Rana, Pritam Lal Atri, Harvinder Kour, Controller of Examination JKSSB Musheer Ahmad Mirza, Secretary, JKSSB Ranjeet Singh and other officers of the Board.
During the meeting, the selection list of Management Executive/Counsellor under item no. 01, notification no. 05 of 2017, was considered and deliberated upon.
The Board after threadbare discussions resolved to approve and publish the select list of Management Executive/Counsellor prepared on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidates in the written examination.

“288 candidates applied for the aforementioned 05 Posts of Management executive/counsellor, out of which 396 candidates appeared in the written examination held on 9th May 2019. On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination, 26 candidates were shortlisted for Document verification/counselling and out of these 26 candidates, 5 candidates were selected on the basis of merit,” an official statement said.
