JKCA begin All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup opener with win

Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association’s (JKCA) cricket team kicked off their campaign in style at the 41st All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup Cricket Tournament 2025, registering a comprehensive 73-run win over Goa Cricket Association (DBGC) in the league stage match held at Ayush Cricket Academy Dehradun on Saturday.

As per the JKCA officials, opting to bat first after being sent in, J&K posted an imposing 311/10 in their allotted 50 overs. The batting effort was led by Yawer Hassan (61 off 51), captain Shubham Singh Pundir (57 off 67), and Abid Mushtaq (36 off 33), with valuable contributions throughout the middle order.

Goa’s Heramb Parab was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets for 46 runs in 10 overs.
