J&K Senior Mixed Team Wins Gold at National Curling Championship in Gulmarg

Jammu and Kashmir’s Senior Mixed Curling Team secured a historic Gold Medal at the National Curling Championship held at the Curling Arena in Gulmarg.

The victory highlights J&K’s growing dominance in the sport after days of intense competition featuring teams from across the country. Led by Er Showkat Rasool (skip), the team displayed remarkable precision, strategy, and determination throughout the tournament. The winning team comprised Er Showkat Rasool, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, Tariq Ahmad, and Saba Arjumand. Their journey included impressive victories against strong teams like Arunachal Pradesh and Haryana, culminating in a thrilling final that earned them the championship title.
