Specialist doctors and GDMOs on contractual basis Suitable and willing male and female candidates may Walk-in-Interview for appointment as Specialist doctors and GDMOs (General Duty Medical Officers) in BSF Composite hospital/BSF Hospitals in Kashmir province on contractual basis as per the terms and conditions mentioned below :
Remuneration :
Specialist Doctors – Rs. 85,000/- per month
General Duty Medical Officer – Rs. 75,000/- per month
For whole period of contract Age :– Not more than 67 years (please also refer Para 09 below)
Educational &Professional Qualifications : Specie list Doctors A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or part-II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II or the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Speciality as mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule-VI or equivalent. 11/2 years experience for Post Graduate Degree holder & 21/2 years for Diploma holder in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent. General Duty Medical Officer A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or part-II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II or the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-sections (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Completion of Compulsory rotating internship. Medical Examination : Immediately after interview on the same day the candidates will be medically examined by a Board of Medical Officer detailed by concerned Composite Hospital.
Appointment will be subject to medical fitness. Period of Contract : Initial contractual appointment will be for 03 years which may be extended for further 02 years on year to year basis subject to the maximum age cap of 70 years.Total period of contract will be five years or till the appointee attains the age of 70 years whichever is earlier. Thereafter, the contract will lapse automatically. However, the appointment can be terminated atany time by giving one month notke (on either side) without assigning any reason by paying/refunding one month salary. No extension beyond the stipulated 05 years will be given. However, there is no baron a contractual appointee applying afresh on completion of 05 years tenure.
Entitlement of Leave : The leave entitlement may be governed in terms of DoP&T’s OM No 12016/3/84-Estt(L) dated 12th April 1985, as amended from time to time. The appointee shall not have any claim or right to regular appointment to any post under CAPFs. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the institution and shall not accept any other appointment paid or otherwise, during the period of contract.
The Selection/appointment of the candidates will be subject to verification of their character and antecedents. Other conditions of contract will be governed by the relevant rules and order issued from time to time. Suitable and willing candidates may walk in for interview to any of the place of interview of their choice on dates given against the location of Walk-in-Interview along with original & photocopies of all relevant documents (like graduate & Post Graduate Degree, age proof and experience certificate etc.) and application on the plain paper superscripting the name of the post applied for and five passport size recent photographs.
