The Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) proudly announced the inauguration of its Kashmir Chapter, marking a significant milestone in the region’s economic and industrial development.
A statement said that the chapter’s first meeting, held under the chairmanship of Syed Niaz A. Shah of Alson Motors and President Showqat Qayum, brought together a distinguished gathering of industrialists and business leaders from across Kashmir.
With its mission to drive the economic transformation of Kashmiri business and industry, by empowering and revitalizing Kashmiri businesses and industries, the FTII Kashmir Chapter aims to act as a catalyst for positive change by promoting collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth across key economic domains. The organization is committed to fostering growth and innovation across diverse sectors including retail, automobile, construction, handicrafts, tourism, hospitality, education, and healthcare and other industries.
The inaugural meeting was attended by eminent representatives of Kashmir Trade & Industry was a testament to Kashmir’s immense potential, with key stakeholders from various industries sharing insights and strategies to address and strengthen the region’s Trade, business and industrial landscape regional challenges and unlock new opportunities.
