For the First Time, KU team to participate in All India Cross Country Championship

Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir Prof Talat Ahmad Monday flagged off cross country team of university of Kashmir.
The team is going to participate in All India cross country championship scheduled to be at Gulbarga University of Karnataka.
Prof Talat Ahmad interacted with contingent comprising of 6 boys and 3 girls of university and various colleges.
VC encouraged team members for their participation and wished them success.
He assured all possible support to athletes representing different teams of university in forthcoming Inter University tournaments.
The players are accompanied by Surjeet Kour.
On the occasion Coordinator, Physical Education and Sports Nisar Ahmad Khan , apprised Vice Chancellor about the tournament and informed that first time cross country team of university is participating in the event.
He thanked Vice Chancellor and Registrar of university in facilitating the air travel of the team,the first of its kind in the Sports of university.
