DPS Srinagar excels in State Level Thang Ta Competition and 10th World Tong il Moo Do Championship

Delhi Public School Srinagar continues it’s glorious run at competitions of various levels. At the recently held State Level Thang Ta Competition and 10th World Tong il Moo Do Championship, the school shine bright and bagged a rich haul of medals.

The State Level Thang Ta Competition was held at Sher e Kashmir Stadium from 3-6th November 2018. The school won 28 medals including 5 GOLD medals, 11 silver and 12 bronze medals. Children from 16 districts across the state of Jammu and Kashmir had participated in this event.

Meanwhile, the 10th World Tong il Moo Do Championship was held in Delhi at Talkator stadium from 30th October to 2nd of November 2018. The school secured 3 Medals – 2 Gold and 1 Bronze in it. The medalists are Qubra Khan (5th) – GOLD, Eishal Maryam (5th) – GOLD and Saarish Koul (5th) – BRONZE. 600 delegates from more than eighteen countries participated in the event.

The Principal Alistair R A Freese congratulated the medalists and said “it is indeed a moment of great pride for the school that it’s students continue to make the school and state proud at state, national and international events.” Chairman Mr Vijay Dhar too congratulated the winners and said “the school’s efforts to cultivate talent are now bearing fruit”.
