District Srinagar Cycling Championship 2024 concludes with competitions across categories

The District Srinagar Cycling Championship 2024, organized by the District Srinagar Cycling Association, concluded on Saturday at Duck Park, witnessing a fierce competition among cyclists of all age groups. The event, held under the supervision of the J&K Cycling Association and J&K State Sports Council, showcased the region’s growing talent in both road and mountain biking disciplines.
In the Senior Men’s Road Cycling category, Adil Altaf clinched the first position, followed by Bahjat Nawaz and Ali Reshi, who secured second and third place, respectively. The Junior Boys Road Cycling saw a dominant performance from Amaan Kalla, Adeel Badami, and Mohd Mursaleen, all from Kashmir Harvard, as they took the top three spots.
The Senior Men’s Mountain Bike (MTB) category saw Shoaib Shabir from Legend School take first place, with Faizan Manzoor and Saqib Latief finishing second and third, respectively. In the Junior Boys MTB, Atif Fayaz, Fariq Rafiq, and Mubashir claimed the top positions. In the Youth Boys category, Shoaib Tariq, Arhaam Khan, and Mohammad Ibrahim emerged as the top three winners.
The Women’s Road Cycling event was led by Yumna Parveez, who finished first, followed by Farah Ahmad in second and Aisha Mushtaq in third place. In the Veteran category, Faheem Ali Punjabi took the top spot, while Dr. Sheikh Tariq and Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat secured second and third positions.
The event concluded with Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Vice President of the J&K Cycling Association and the event’s chief guest, distributing prizes and certificates to the winners.
