District Rugby championship concludes in Baramulla

The two-day-long District Baramulla Rugby Championship played at Khushal Sports Stadium Sopore concluded

As per the official more than 22 teams including boys and girls in all age groups participated in the championship and showcased their talent.

District Development Council member Irfan Hafeez was the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony while Ab. Majid, Lines Officer DPL, District Police Sopore, Gh Hassan Bagwan were the Guest of honour on the closing ceremony.

While addressing to the participants on the occasion, Chief Guest praised the organizers for conducting such a grand event.

He also appreciated the enthusiasm among the players and officials who had come from far flung area of the District Baramulla to make the event grand success.

The championship which started on June 29 was organised by District Baramulla Rugby Association in collaboration with J&K Rugby Association and was sponsored by J&K Sports Council.
