DC Srinagar sets Targets for 100% saturation under Centrally Sponsored Schemes

In order to pace up the implementation process of beneficiary oriented Centrally Sponsored schemes in the District to attain 100% saturation , the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad  chaired a meeting of District and Sectoral Officers here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.

Besides, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Faz lul Haseeb, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Programme Officer, ICDS, Chief Medical Officers, Zonal Medical Officers, all District/Sectoral officers and District Coordinator, CSC and representatives of State Health Agency.

The Deputy Commissioner took a comprehensive review of various schemes being implemented in the District including PMAY-U, PMAY-G, PMJAY Golden Cards, PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Yojna, PM-Jeevan Jyoti Bhima Yojna, PM Jan Arogya Yojna, Soil Health Card, Atal Pension Yojna, PM Fasal Beema Yojna, Kisan Credit Card, PM Svanidhi Yojna, SWAMITVA, National Social Assistance Programme, National Family Benefit Scheme, SBM-G, SBM-U, PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana and National Live Stock Mission.

The DC stressed upon the all concerned Departments to accord topmost priority to various development and welfare schemes in the district so that the 100 percent saturation is achieved under all mentioned Centrally Sponsored schemes in set deadlines to ensure that benefit of schemes percolate to the last beneficiary of the District.

With regard to registration of PM-JAY SEHAT Cards(Golden Cards), the DC directed the CMO and other concerned to ensure effective implementation of the scheme so that all leftover population is covered under the scheme. He emphasised on saturating the registration process under the scheme at family as well as individual level.

The Officers of the State Health Agency were asked to fix the software issues in the registration Portal/website of Golden cards so that it is functions properly to pace up the registration process.

The DC also stressed upon the CMO and Programme Officer, ICDS to make sure that ASHA/Anganwari workers in the District mobilize the leftover target population for the registration of Golden Cards at respective Medical Zones.

Similarly, the Officers were directed to bring the daily rated/consolidated and other workers under the ambit of Atal Pension Yojana so that they are benefited from the scheme. He also laid stress on launching an IEC campaign to make people aware about the benefits of the scheme.

During the meeting, the pace of Adhaar registration was also discussed. PO ICDS was asked to firm up the registration process in the age group of 0 to 5 years. He further directed that all CDPOs & Supervisors will certify 100% Aadhaar coverage at the Anganwadi centres. The Chief Education officer was asked to obtain certificates from all Heads of institutions certifying 100% Aadhaar coverage.
