A private coaching institute in Bandipora, “The MindWire Academy” has started distributing recorded video lectures among the students through pen-drives and multi-share apps.
The purpose of these videos is to make sure that the students, who due to the restrictions are not able to attend their schools or coaching institutions, do not miss out on their academics.
“After the outbreak of Corona-virus across the world, education institutions at majority of the places were closed, including in Jammu and Kashmir. But students living outside Kashmir valley have a resource like 4G speed internet, which they can use to take their classes from home. But when in Kashmir, with 2G mobile internet accessing video lectures online is not possible,” said, the head of the academy, PeerzadaYasirRafiq.
He revealed that seeing this he along with some of his colleagues he decided to provide lectures to the students in a way which would be easily accessible to them.
“I along with some of my faculty members discussed the way through which we can disseminate lectures among the students without relying on internet speed and they coming out of their homes either. And we zeroed in on pen drive method,” Peerzada said.
