Comm Secy Floriculture inaugurates Club Park at Gulmarg

In order to boost tourist flow in the famous tourist resort Gulmarg, Commissioner Secretary, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens , Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad today inaugurated Club Park here.

The park has been developed at an estimated cost of Rs 40 Lakhs.

After inaugurating the Park, the Commissioner Secretary also took a brief appraisal of various facilities available for the tourists at the famous tourist spot wherein he directed the officers to ensure that the tourists are provided best facilities

On the occasion, the Commissioner Secretary also said that government is keen to provide each and every facility to the people, so that they get all the amusement at their doorsteps.

During the visit, the Commissioner Secretary and Director Floriculture also planted some ornamental plants in the said park and issued directions for planting more trees along the boundaries of park.

The Commissioner Secretary also directed the officers to maintain quality of work and emphasized on the overall beautification of all the parks in the area. He also remarked that a theme Garden shall be developed at the venue for which the necessary land has been acquired.
