Baramulla’s young Karate champs shine at South Asia Karate championship

Students from GD Goenka School Baramulla have excelled at the JKS South Asia Karate Championship 2025 held in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

Trained at Amin Karate Academy Sopore, students competed against participants from 15 states across India, clinching four medals, reflecting the academy’s commitment to foster excellence in martial arts.

Numaan Malik, Sahil Javid, and Hibah Abid secured gold medals, while Amaarah Abid won a silver medal.

The championship saw participation from 15 states across India, with over 400 karate enthusiasts competing for top honours.

Notably, the outstanding performance of Amin Karate Academy Sopore’s trainees stands as a testament to the academy’s dedication to nurturing young talent and promoting martial arts in the region.

Meanwhile, people of district Baramulla congratulated the trainees, their parents, and the instructors at Amin Karate Academy Sopore on this outstanding achievement.
