Baramulla witnesses spectacular Wu-Shu championship

The Wu-Shu Association Baramulla, in collaboration with the Dagger Division, successfully organised the Wu-Shu Champions 2024 at the Indoor Stadium in Baramulla.

This prestigious event, held from November 6 & 7 November, witnessed enthusiastic participation from athletes across the region, showcasing their martial arts prowess and sportsmanship.

The championship was inaugurated by Tabassum Bano, Secretary of the Wu-Shu Association Baramulla and the Dagger Division, who emphasized the importance of such events in promoting physical fitness and cultural heritage. The opening ceremony featured a vibrant display of traditional martial arts performances, setting the tone for the competitive spirit that followed.

Over the course of two days, participants competed in various categories, including Taolu (forms) and Sanda (sparring).
