The TEZMAAL T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by ORZU Sports & Cultural Trust and sponsored by Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd, concluded successfully at the TRC Ground in Srinagar.
DC Srinagar, Bilal Mohiuddin, inaugurated the event, which was attended by several distinguished guests including Vijay Kumar Beduri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; Bollywood actress Priti Sapru; Ishtyiaq Beigh, Chairman of G.R. Beigh Memorial Trust and President of JK Government Employees Conference; Dr. Sandeep Mawa of NGEWA SKIMS; and Subhash Zutshi, General Manager of Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd.
The final match saw Baramulla emerge victorious, claiming the winner’s trophy and a cash prize of Rs1 lakh. Poonch, the runner-up, received Rs. 50,000 and a trophy. The tournament attracted participation from various community sections, ensuring its smooth execution.
During the event, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Beigh emphasised the importance of youth abstaining from drugs and highlighted the negative impacts of drug abuse on society. The tournament not only showcased cricketing talent but also served as a platform to address important social issues.
