Adding to the glory of the occasion, Guest of Honour, Zahoor Ahmad, Manager Indoor Stadium Handwara, praised the league’s smooth conduct. He applauded the dedication of the coaches and organizers who worked tirelessly to create this landmark opportunity for young female athletes.
This year’s league witnessed around 200 girls competing passionately across multiple categories, displaying skill, resilience, and true sportsmanship. From Singa to Macan, Pre-Teen to Senior, the mats of Handwara saw unforgettable performances that left spectators cheering at every turn.
The biggest highlight of the day was the announcement of the championship results, with AIIMS Handwara emerging as Overall Champion. Their athletes delivered exceptional performances across multiple divisions, showcasing remarkable skill and consistency that secured them the top honour.
Monarch School Handwara claimed the position of 1st Runner-Up, backed by a strong team that displayed discipline, teamwork, and steady results throughout the competition.
Rose Garden Hangah secured the 2nd Runner-Up spot with impressive performances marked by determination and grit. Their athletes put up a spirited show, earning them a well-deserved place on the podium.
With cheers echoing across the hall, medals glittering with pride, and smiles lighting up young faces, the closing ceremony turned into a festival of empowerment. The event once again reaffirmed that Kupwara’s girls are not just participating—but excelling—in martial arts at a remarkable level.
