Aryans’ J&K students develop Shikara App

The youth of valley venture into every field and voluntarily participating in valley’s development and growth.

Kashmiri students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh have developed a new app for booking Shikara rides in Dal Lake.

‘Aryans Shikara App’ has been developed by eight students of Aryans College of Engineering namely Riyaz Rasool, Irfan Ahmad Malik, Abid Mushtaq, Aquib, Shakir Ahmad, Asif Ahmad, Mehbooba Bano, Bilal, Mehzabeen and Sabreena, a statement issued by the Aryans said. 

The App is expected to help both the riders and Shikara owners.

The app was launched on Sunday by Anshu Kataria, chaiman of Aryans Group. Wali Mohammad, president of Shikara Association was also present on the occasion.
