It is said that charity begins at home and rightly so as Arwa, a resident of Nowgam derives her passion for assisting people with needs from her home as four of her family members suffer from the same problem. When at home, she spends most of her time with the physically challenged sports enthusiasts, to whom she is their voice & mentor. She is usually seen at tournaments along with these sportspersons and travels with them across the country and has made it a mission and resolve to be with the deaf and mute sportspeople in Kashmir and to help them to communicate. During the past years, Arwa has trained over 300 people and wishes to train more and more.Arwa is becoming an inspiration for many people and wants them to follow her footsteps and help each other.
