Rashtriya Rifles-Formidable XLVI under the aegis of Dagger Gunner, Dagger Division organized Powerlifting and Bodybuilding competition at Sherwani Hall.
Indian army organized such a unique and competitive event to channelize youth energy in positive direction wherein nearly 35 participants from 10 different weight categories participated.
The competition was completed in three rounds in each category. Zubair Ahmad resident of Gulshanabad Old Town Baramulla was awarded with Rolling Championship Trophy and cash prize of Rs 10000 whereas Mubeen Ahmad Akhoon resident of Jalal Sahib was declared as 1st runner-up and awarded with Rs 5000. Akhtar Wani, coach and certified fitness instructor from Gold Gym University Bangalore was the chief guest as well as judge of the event.
The organizing committee of Baramulla Bodybuilding Association was also felicitated with cash prizes Rs 5000 for helping in organizing the event.
