Another remarkable feat, Kashmir’s young Cricketers win the title trophy of the U-14 State Level Cricket Tournament boys by 3-0.

Kashmir Division won the title trophy of the U-14 State Level Cricket Tournament for boys, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports at sports stadium Hiranagar.
The tournament was organized on the basis of best of three in which three matches were played between Jammu and Kashmir teams in two days.
In second match, Kashmir Division won the toss and elected to bat first and made 99 runs in prescribed 14 overs. Haider made 46 runs in 33 balls with 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. Azhad of Kashmir added 20 runs in 28 balls with one boundary.
Tegvansh, Tahir and Shabir from Jammu Division scalped one wicket each.
In reply, Jammu was near target but lost the second consecutive match by 2 runs with the loss of three wickets. Vansh Khadyal made 32 runs in 45 balls with 4 boundaries. Vansh Singh added 28 runs in 22 balls with 4 boundaries.
The third and last match was also won by Kashmir Division in which Jammu made 138 runs in prescribed 30 overs and Kashmir achieved the target in 27th over. Azhad of Kashmir made all three matches romantic with his tricks and tactics.
Kashmir Division won all three matches and lifted the trophy of U-14 boys by 3-0.
On the occasion, Director General YS&S J&K Saleem Ur Rehman was the chief guest, who interacted with all the players and gave best wishes to them.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Sunil Kumar, ZPEOs Yog Raj Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Activity Incharges Kuldeep Singh, Dharminder Singh and other officials were also present on the occasion.
