International cyclist Akbar Khan continues to dominate cycling arena in J&K. He trumped mountain biking race Mountain Bike (MTB) Kashmir 2019 with gold medal.
Although Akbar had no specialization in off road cycling but he still raced valiantly through tough mountain terrains from Ganderbal to Mamar Sonmarg.
The race was flagged off by former MlA Ganderbal, Ishfaq Jabbbar, from Madr -A- Meharban Ground Ganderbal . The race culminated at Mamar Sonmarg.
The trail of race was 40 KM through the majestic mountains. 50 mountain bikers from all over India competed in the race.
Parviaz Ahmad and Mohd Rafiq finished second and third respectively.
