Dr. Anayat Mir Awarded Special Commendation on Civil Defence Raising Day

At the 63rd Annual Raising Day of Home Guards & Civil Defence, held at SDRF 1st Battalion, Baghat Barzulla, Srinagar, Dr. Anayat Mir, Chief Warden, CD Baramulla, was conferred a special commendation award for his meritorious and impactful service in Civil Defence.

The honour acknowledges his exceptional contribution to public safety, national security awareness, and community empowerment. Dr. Mir has led a wide range of evidence-based awareness programmes on narco-terrorism, hybrid warfare, and community disaster preparedness, strengthening the capacity of citizens to act as effective first responders.

Authorities also highlighted his notable initiatives with youth, focusing on perception management, prevention of alienation, and reducing vulnerability to exploitation by anti-national elements.
