Mahir Wani from Kashmir Joins India’s U-19 Volleyball Camp

In a boost to Jammu & Kashmir’s sporting scene, young volleyball talent Mahir Wani from Srinagar has been named among the 24 probables for the national camp ahead of the Under-19 CAVA Cup Volleyball Championship.

As per a release issued on Tuesday, this marks another milestone in Mahir’s promising career. Mahir has already represented India at the under-16 level, and his latest selection reflects his consistent performance, dedication, and passion for the sport.

The District Srinagar Volleyball Association, in its release, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mahir and wished him the very best for his future endeavours. “His achievement is a matter of pride for the entire region and serves as an inspiration for young athletes across Jammu & Kashmir,” SVA said in the statement.
