A 30-member contingent from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (J&K UT) has been selected for the 32nd Federation Cup Tennis Ball Cricket Championship, which will take place in Sholinghur Ranipeth, Tamil Nadu, from February 21 to 23.
The selection was finalized after trials held at Greenfield Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, on February 16 and 17. The selection was overseen by Farooq Salroo and Gulshan Rattan, Incharges of the Selection Committee.
The selected Men’s Team for the 32nd Federation Cup includes Mehran, Yasir, Shan, Irfan, Zeeshan, Basit, Faiz, Moomin, Mohit, Faizan, Yasir, Masroor, Fayaz Wani (Official) and Ishtayaq (Official).
The Women’s Team comprises Rifat, Insha, Mahnoora, Sundas, Rabiyah, Mariya, Nowsheen, Safiya, Sehar, Bushra, Iram, Aiman, Shahida, Sabha, Taseen (Official) and Nelofar (Official). Both teams will leave for Tamil Nadu tomorrow to participate in the tournament.
