DDC Budgam reviews progress under District CAPEX Budget 2024-25

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today chaired a detailed review meeting to assess the progress of projects under the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget for the fiscal year 2024-25.

The review focused on ensuring timely project completion and maximizing the impact of allocated funds for the district’s development.

During the meeting, DDC emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines and maintaining quality standards to optimize fund utilization and achieve district development goals. He directed all officers and executing agencies to expedite ongoing projects, stressing the need for efficient implementation to benefit the residents of Budgam.

DDC also highlighted the significance of close coordination among departments to identify and resolve any challenges that may impede project progress. He urged officials to provide regular updates on the status of projects and to address issues swiftly to prevent any delays.

Effective monitoring, he added, is key to ensuring that projects are completed within the set timeframes and resources are utilized judiciously.

It was reported during the review that a total of 2,965 works will be taken up for the current fiscal year.

The meeting was attended by SE R&B, CPO Budgam, CMO, CEO, CAO, all Executive Engineers, all BDOs, all EOs and other senior district officials.
