Urdu Council J&K releases senior civil servant’s short story collection

The Urdu Council Jammu and Kashmir released a short story collection titled “Paigam” written by senior civil servant Nawab Din Kasana at its annual function held here.
The function was attended by prominent literary figures, intellectuals. The chief guest justice Bashir kirmani praised the author for his contribution to Urdu literature and highlighted the importance of promoting the language.

Nawab Din Kasana JKAS, a senior civil servant presently working as Regional Director Land Records Jammu, has penned a collection of thought-provoking stories that explore themes of social justice, and human relationships. The book “Paigam” is a testament to his literary prowess and his ability to weave engaging narratives.
The Urdu Council J&K has been instrumental in promoting Urdu literature and language in the state, and this publication is another feather in its cap. The council’s efforts to encourage writers and provide a platform for their work are commendable.
The book release function concluded with the presentation of a thorough review of the book by Dr Mohammad Younis, a young medical -doctor turned writer.
“Paigam” is a must-read for literature enthusiasts and those interested in exploring the nuances of human emotions.
