BNI launches Srinagar Chapter, aims to boost local business networking

Business Network International (BNI), a business networking organisation, has officially launched its first chapter in Srinagar, marking a significant milestone for the business community in Jammu and Kashmir.

A statement said that the launch event was attended by Dimpi Gupta and Raghav Gupta, Executive Directors of BNI Jammu & Kashmir, along with Global Growth Consultant Ayush Bansal and regional team members Jaskaran Singh Madaan, Tanvir Hussain, Anubhav Aggarwal, and Vaneet Aggarwal.

Raghav Gupta highlighted BNI’s unique weekly meeting format, where members exchange quality business referrals. “We plan to launch two chapters in Srinagar and aim to grow to 300 members in Jammu & Kashmir within a year,” he stated. BNI’s distinctive approach allows only one representative per profession in each chapter, eliminating direct competition among members.

Dimpi Gupta explained that BNI’s core philosophy, “Givers Gain,” emphasizes the reciprocal nature of networking. The organization focuses on developing long-term, meaningful relationships among quality business professionals without charging commissions on referrals.

Ayush Bansal provided insight into BNI’s impact, noting that the average seat value per member in India is INR 72.09 lakhs per year in new business terms. This figure suggests significant potential for economic growth in the region through structured networking.
