Pampore youth promotes skill-based learning among student

A youth from Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district is creating skilled connoisseurs for tackling future challenges.
Adil Ahmad Bhat, a resident from saffron town Pampore, has been providing skill based training to students from the past three years at his IT start up, decode-future.

“Decode-future conducts free of cost workshops in various educational institutions and coaching centres to sensitise students with skill based learning,” Adil said, adding that they also hold IT conferences in which eminent personalities and academicians from the field of IT across the country deliver speeches.

“Since 2017 we conducted more than 30 workshops and held 3 IT conferences,” he said, adding that so far more than 3500 students were trained in coding, programming and various IT based skills.He added that coding promotes creativity among students and broadens their horizons.

“It helps them to find automatic solutions to real life challenges,” he said, adding that it is for this reason that the new education policy makes introduction to coding for students from class 6th onwards compulsory.
Decode-future has taken a lead in this regard helping students from class 7th to 12th to write code for various applications and gaming programmes.

He added that the demand for skilled youth including coders, programmers and developers in the job market is very high in India and abroad.Furqaan Zanoon, a pass out from Decode-future, is a co-founder of IT start –up, Briskk delivery.
Talking to Rising Kashmir he said that there was no home delivery food service in Pampore town.

“The problem was identified and an IT based solution was provided by linking all leading cafes and restaurants,” he said, adding people can now place orders online for home delivery.
“The support service in terms of delivery boys created employment opportunities for many,” he said.
He added that he was able to earn while pursuing his BCA degree from Cluster University after getting training from Decode-future.
