1 lakh solar panels to be distributed among needy people in Kashmir

Founder of the Global Citizen Forum and noted business Leader, Dr. B.K. Modi announced 1 lakh solar panels to be distributed among the needy people in Kashmir free of cost.

Addressing a gathering in Jammu during a private screening of his latest tele serial ‘Sri Adishankaracharya’ as he commenced an ‘Adi Yatra’ that commemorates the life of the revered Indian saint.

The program was presided by Dr. BK Modi and under the guidance of Jagad Guru Shankaracharya Swami Amritanand Dev Thirath Ji Maharaj.

The main focus was laid on Shankaracharya parampara and connecting all the Peethas with the main Sarvagya Sharda Peeth, which is at present 30 kilometers from Kupwara (LoC).

The core aim was to relook the road map which Adi Shankara during his lifetime, starting from his birthplace Kaladi in Kerala to Sharda Peeth in Kashmir.

“He traveled to all the four Peethas and all over India at Sri Shrinegeri Sharda Peetam in Chikmagl in Karnataka, Jyotir Math in Gharwal region in Uttrakhand, Dwarika math in Gujarat and Govandhan math in Puri, Orissa,” BK Modi said.

He also talked about women empowerment, and entrepreneurship and announced 1 lakh solar banks for the needy people in Kashmir free of cost.

The program was followed by a felicitation Program in which Dr. Beena Budki, Mushtaq Chaya, Baldev Singh, VPV Yugka Murthy, Syed Waseem, Tariq Bhaktu, Syed Haroon, were felicitated by BK Modi and Sri Shankaracharya Ji, this program was conducted by captain Arvind Singh and DR Raja Langer.

A vote of thanks was presented to Kashmiri entrepreneurs, peacekeepers, and NGOs.
