Tourism Dept Kashmir organises day long festival at Lolab

In a bid to promote the offbeat tourist destinations in the valley, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism department today organised a day festival at Chandigam Lolab in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
 
According to the officials the day long festival includes Musical cum cultural programme Trekking and nature walk
Ethnic local crusine Sports events and
Visit to the ancestral house of Anwar shah lolabi a renewed Kashmiri islamic scholar.
The officials said the event is aimed at to promote the offbeat tourist destinations of the valley.
Notably, the government has identified 75 lesser known destinations in Jammu and Kashmir to promote them as tourist attractions and is also aiming at to bring these new destinations on tourism map.
