SHAH ABRAR UL HAQ OF AGS CHANDIGAM CRACK IIT

Shah Abrar Ul Haq hails from Chandigam village of District Kupwara. His father Mr Abdul Hamid Shah Peerzada is a teacher at Chandigam High School. He is one amongst 41862 candidates who qualified JEE (Advance) this year in 2021. Shah Abrar is an alumni of AGS Chandigam. He took admission in the year 2006 in Nursery and continued his studies upto 12th Standard in the school. Besides being good at studies, Abrar was also good in Sports as well as in other co-curricular activities. He loves playing volleyball & Cricket. Be it studies or sports, he always took initiative and keen interest in achieving his goals. Shah Abrar met with an incident in 2013 in which he partially lost his eyesight. But this did not stop him from achieving his dreams. Without losing hope Abrar continued his studies and passed class 10th examination with flying colours attaining 90% marks. In class 11th Abrar opted for Non-medical stream because of his interest in Maths & Physics. Abrar Passed 12th class Examination in the year 2020 with Distinction and started preparing for JEE examination. In Jan 2021 Abrar appeared for JEE Mains and qualified with a ranking of 53 in PWD (Persons with Disabilities) Cat. In Oct 2021 Abrar qualified JEE (Advance) with a rank of 138 in PWD Cat. He has been allotted metrological Engineering at IIT Mumbai.
