Farah Zaidi working for the upliftment of Youth especially Women, and has worked on a number of issues ranging from Child Safety and Protection to Elimination of Violence Against Women, Women Leadership, and Capacity Building.
Hailing from Kupwara, Farah has worked as Coordinator Women Empowerment at ELFA International, a J&K based NGO for 4 years, has been organizing, coordinating, and participating in National and International level events and projects on women’s issues and leadership.
Currently working as technical consultant for ELFA International for a UNICEF supported project on Safe Schools in Jammu and Kashmir. Safe Schools is a comprehensive project conceived by UNICEF, it has four major components viz COVID-19 IPC, Child Safety and Protection, Disaster Risk Reduction and Menstrual Hygiene Management.
