The Health & Medical Education Department, Govt of Jammu & Kashmir has sanctioned NoC in favour of President J&K Para-Medical Council for starting ISM (AYUSH) Pharmacist Training course in Government GNM/AMT/ANMT Schools of all Districts in UT of J&K vide Govt order No 848-JK-HME of 2020 Dated November 10, 2020. The intake capacity of 20 students each has been sanctioned for Govt AMT School Jammu/Srinagar besides 10 students each for GNM/AMT/ANMT schools in all other Districts in first phase.
AYUSH Pharmacist training course in AMT/ANMTs/JNM was planned Financial Commissioner Health & Medical Education . On his instructions a comprehensive proposal was submitted by Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine to J&K Para Medical Council for initiating the process of Starting AYUSH Pharmacist Training course in GNM/AMT/ANMT schools of J&K on the prescribed format issued by J&K Para Medical council requesting therein that 10 seats each be allotted in all District ANMTs and 20 seats each at AMT School, GMC Jammu and AMT School, GMC Srinagar.
AYUSH treatment is increasing magnanimously and infrastructure of AYUSH systems is being upgraded regularly in J&K with 50-bedded Integrated AYUSH Hospitals being established in all districts in the UT of J&K at secondary level.
