Army officer in Handwara adopts disabled boy; promises to bear his medicinal and educational expenses

 

An army officer in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district has adopted a deaf and mute boy on humanitarian grounds and took the responsibility of his education and medication onwards. T

Major of 21RR adopted a disabled boy, a resident of Yamrad hamlet of Rajwar Handwara.
“I met Gowhar Mir recently. He spoke to me by heart and I got his every word from his body language despite he was unable to speak like us”, expressed the officer.

He added that boy’s rest of the family members of nine, four are suffering from same circumstances . The officer has promised for all required support for Gawhaar including medication and education.The army officer has arranged all his schooling requirements including admission fee, books, uniform and other imperative things.

The Army officer has sought permission from the family members of disabled boy to get him treated outside Jammu and Kashmir to which they expressed glad over this humanitarian action.
