DC Ganderbal flags-off 58 students for Trekking Expedition to Sonamarg.

Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal flagged off a group of 58 students (girls) for a trekking expedition to Sonamarg from Mini Secretariat.
 
The student trekkers from various schools of the district in the age group of 17 and 19 years are scheduled to participate in the camp organized by Youth Services and Sports Ganderbal for a period of 5 days commencing from today and culminating on 14th of Oct, 2020.
 
DC urged them to take advantage of the trip and said that adventure, sports activities and studies invariably go hand-in-hand and plays an important role for the overall character development of every student and the same should be a way of life for every youth.
 
The DC appreciated the organizers and urged them to provide them enough guidance and ensure availability of emergency medicines to the trekkers during the camp.
