While we are all at our homes, praying, having food with family, relaxing in bed, teams of frontline healthcare staff is trying to save lives in hospitals, putting their own lives at risk dealing with infected patients. For them to see the patients that they took care of for years and years get sick is heartbreaking. Facing the residents, the ones that are sick, trying to keep a straight face to keep their spirits up, is another challenge. They don’t know if they’re ever going to see their family again, they are continuously working to save as many lives, families as possible without even meeting their own family for days. The volunteers, who are distributing masks, food supplies, spreading awareness everywhere, without worrying about their health, is something we cannot thank them enough. We should all support and cheer them whenever we see them and thank them for their service, which we can never forget.
Let us pray for all the frontline workers, volunteers who are tirelessly working to keep us all safe and stay at our homes & maintain social distance.
