Hailing from the Rainawari area of Srinagar, Mir Barieq Manzoor has created history by securing 1st position throughout India in Bachelor of Commerce-a national level annual examination conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University of India (IGNOU). Candidates from all over India gave this exam and securing 1 AIR, Mir’s achievement has brought laurels to the Kashmir Valley, especially to Rainawari, the old city of Srinagar.
Mir Barieq Manzoor, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed Mir, is invited in the 33rd Convocation of Indira Gandhi National Open University, to be held at IGNOU Headquarters, New Delhi to confer her with a University Gold Medal.
