In continuation to this office notification No:F (Acad-C-Sch)CSSS, Dated: 03-08-2018, it is notified for the information of all the concerned students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination, Part-ll (Class 12th) Session Annual, Regular, 2017, Kashmir Division/ Winter Zone of Jammu Division including Leh and Kargil districts and Annual Regular 2018 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division, falling within Top 20 percentile, aspiring to avail the benefits of Centre Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, (MHRD), New Delhi are required to prefix the below mentioned code before their Roll No in which the candidate falls and select 2018 as year of passing, while filling up online application form on National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in), the last date of which is 31st Oct 2018.
To apply for the said scholarship scheme on National Scholarship Portal, select “Department of Higher Education” and then select “Centre Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS)”,
The quantum of Scholarship is Rs. 10,000/- per year for undergraduate courses i.e. Rs. 30,000 for three years and Rs. 20,000/- per year during post graduate courses. The Top 20 percentile along with important instructions to fill application form online is available on JKBOSE website: www.jkbose.jk.gov.in.
On successful completion of the application, it would be available for online validation to the university /college /institution in which the student is studying at graduate level.
