5th District Bandipora Yogasana Sports Championship concludes

The 5th District Bandipora Yogasana Sports Championship concluded on Monday at IDPS Bandipora, marking a successful end to the event under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative. The championship saw enthusiastic participation from yogasana players across the district, showcasing their skills and commitment to the sport.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Raqib Rasool Parrey, General Secretary of the J&K Yogasana Sports Association, who served as the Chief Guest. The event was further graced by the presence of Mohammad Ayaz, an observer from the J&K Sports Council.
In his address, Dr. Raqib Rasool Parrey congratulated the participants for their exceptional performances and emphasized the role of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being, particularly among the youth. He encouraged the young athletes to continue their dedication to sports and wellness.
Mohammad Ayaz expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the organizers and participants, assuring continued support from the J&K Sports Council for the development of sports activities, including yogasana, in Bandipora.
